Tomorrow morning is "move in" at 9am, and then orientation begins at 3:30pm. As of residence life posts this morning, I have two suite mates but no roommate. So I am awaiting what happens in regard to that!
Classes start Monday, my first one being Economics at 10am. Let the learning adventure begin! (Because I do like school work... Yes I'm a weirdo.)
Being the person that I am, of course I forgot something. We arrived in Missouri Sunday night and I realized I didn't have my Bible or Journal. After taking some sermon notes at church, I had left them both on he coat rack outside of the sanctuary. This is a travesty in itself and so I told Daddy and he said that Mom could mail it to me. I'd only need to borrow a Bible for a few days. At first I was upset... I needed to do my daily quiet time and show everyone that "this is who I am". (First impressions, you know ;)
The Holy Spirit humbled me and said, "They will know you by your love... not by the fact that you read your Bible every morning." (It was a nice was of saying, "Be humble, not prideful.")
Okay, Lord, got it.
Then Mom called. Well, I had left my Bible and Journal, yes, but along with that I had left my purse on the coatrack. That meant my gift cards (for getting shampoo and detergent), my ID and driver's license, my bank account card and credit card, etc. Good one, Molly.
I am so glad that "His grace is sufficient for me"... because I need that grace every day, starting today. I am praying, though, that this is the "one and only" mistake like this!
