John 12:32 says, "But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." This is a verse I was challenged by this weekend: am I living so radically, so fully and passionately in love with my Savior, that I am lifting up Christ? Because that's what I am to be doing: lifting Him up, that He might be glorified and draw all men to him!
Love cannot be regulated. (Thanks, Casey Doss at The Ramp for a powerful sermon!) My love to others cannot be regulated: I cannot fix people. It is not about rules and regulations, but Love means that we will act in a way that glorifies and honors Christ. If I truly love Him and understand Who He is, if I stand in His presence and worship (What a Privilege!!!), my behavior will reflect this! I will WANT to walk in integrity, show respect, serve, and love even the unlovable.
How long has it been since you fell on your face before your God in complete worship and awe? He is awe-inspiring! It had been too long for me since I had done this, but I learned that I love it! Losing track of time in His presence is the best way to spend your time!
I am madly in love with my Savior, My Friend, My Redeemer, My Rock, My Constant, My First Love, My King, the One Who Rules My Life! :)
If we live and walk in love, results that we can't even imagine will follow!
"Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer."
~John Bunyan
If we could only, truly understand Who God is, would we really live the way that we live?
Give God time. Give Him time each day. Praise Him each day before your feet him the ground. Read His Word each day before you check facebook or your phone.
You will fall madly in love, too.
