It feels as though you're not good for anything... dried up... poured out.
It's funny how this kind of thinking, the trap of which I have climbed into so often, is far from how we should be thinking if our minds are set on Christ.
A standard of success could simply be what others see you as: successful or a failure. In this age of resumes and scholarships and accomplishments, when someone "one up's" us, sometimes it's hard to feel good anymore.
But, "His measurement of our success does not lie in our spectacular activities. It lies in our quiet steadfastness for Him."

... and my conclusion? The fact that we FEEL like failures. I taught a few weeks ago on how our Faith cannot be based upon Feelings, and I could say the same about life. Don't base your Life on Feelings, but on Truth. God's truth.
